C.A.W - Hearts on FIRE !!
Dear fellow abengs,
Every academic year, CSS dedicates a week to create awareness of our Catholic faith amongst the students on campus. We hope that by making ourselves visible, we can be a beacon for those who have been away from God for some time and also for those who have not come to know Him yet. This year, the Catholic Awareness Week will be held from the 5th to the 10th of February, targeting three major faculties which are Arts, Engineering and Science and the CAW exhibition will be carried out slightly differently: Instead of just having one day of exhibition at each faculty, it will be extended to three days, with some days overlapping; Engine will be taking Weds, Thurs and Friday. It has also been decided that the Rally will be shifted to Sat eve on the 10th instead of our usual Rally + Mass. Mass itself will be held on the 9th February.
To prepare everyone this event, the CAW committee has prepared a series of 3 faith formation sessions and a day of recollection. The topics for this year's CAW Faith Formation Talks are:

- Creeds of the Church & God's Commandments
- Sacraments & Liturgy
These talks will be held at Risen Christ Church (Toa Payoh), 10am - 12pm on 13th, 20th, and 27th Jan while the day of recollection will be on the 3rd of February.
NOTE: The rest of the CAW topics which are not dealt with by the CG materials or the FF talks will be covered in our Pamphlets. These pamphlets will be tailored specifically for CSS members so that they may read and enrich themselves before CAW. More details will be given soon!
IMPORTANT: CSS NEEDS YOU! ABENG NEEDS YOU! With three consecutive days of exhibition, we’ll need everyone’s help, support and cooperation. We need you to enrich and prepare yourselves by attending these FFM talks, we need you to have courage, courage through Christ, and we need your presence, soul, mind and body for the exhibition itself. There are other areas that need more manpower as well. As Daniel has mentioned in an earlier email, the CAW committee needs more manpower and ideas especially for the exhibition sub-committee. Since the exhibition boards will be made exclusively for the various faculties, they need your valuable input. So please step forward, speak up and answer the call. Lastly, all these efforts may amount to nothing without your prayers. We need your prayers.
