Proposed Restructuring of CSS
Hey ABEngz!!
Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Date: 30th March, Friday
Time: 7:15pm (After the 6:15pm mass).
Venue: Whichever LT we will be having Mass in on that day.
(Food will be provided!!)
Summary of the Proposed Re-structuring:
To re-organise CSS into five CGs divided by the day of the week instead of along
Faculty lines.
A small faculty comm and faculty representative will exist to
facilitate localised activities at the faculties (e.g. noticeboards, prayer
corners, welcome teas etc). The CGs will be lead by a team headed by a key
Cell Group Leader who will sit on the CSS EXCO.
This change will initially apply to all faculties EXCEPT the faculty of Law
(due to geographical constraints). There will be no change to the position
of the Ministries and the Legion of Mary.
For your convenience, a 6-page document has been attached to this email with
a detailed explanation of the reasons behind the proposed change to the CSS
framework as well as a short Q&A portion which answers the most frequently
asked questions.
The Format for the EGM is as follows:
1) Presentation by the CSS EXCO
2) Q&A Session
3) The community VOTES for or against the implementation of the proposal
Please pray/discern about this decision .
I'm sure all of you will have questions! You can either check out the QnA section in the attachment that was sent out with the email, or just post your questions in the chatbox at the bottom!
As this decision will affect the entire CSS community, all of your questions are very important.
Please share your views with the community, for the Holy Spirit may be using you as an instrument! And please come down on the 30th of March to VOTE!
But most imporantly, please DO NOT pray that the restructuring is a success. Please DO NOT pray that restructuring fails.
Just pray one thing – that God's will be done, whatever the will. And pray that He will grant you the inspiration to know His will on voting day itself. Amen
in His love,
ryan.
